Thank you for your registration for the first aid course.Read the information below carefully to have a good start for your first aid course.

Activate your Heartbeat account

• You have received login details from the Red Cross to activate your Heartbeat account. It is important to activate it within 2 weeks, otherwise the activation code will expire. In your account you will find your course details, if applicable your e-learning and your certificates obtained. You can login at: https://heartbeat.rodekruis.nl/login
• Are you taking a refresher course? Then you have already received login details. If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one at https://heartbeat.rodekruis.nl/login
• Problems logging in? Or are your details incorrect? Send an e-mail to [email protected] so that they can help you further.

Pay the invoice within 8 days

You will receive a seperate email with the invoice. Please pay within 8 days and please mention the invoice number. You can also easily pay via the iDeal payment request. Do you submit the invoice to your health insurance? Then please first pay to us and submit the invoice to the health insurance after the course. In case of a group training, the contact person will receive the invoice.

Preparation

Are you taking a course with e-learning? Than make sure to finish the e-learning before the start of the practical training. The e-learning takes time:

• First aid to babies and children 6 hours
• First aid course 8 hours
• Advanced first aid course 14 hours
• Advanced first aid course including children’s first aid 16 hours

When the e-learning is not finished, you cannot participate in the practical training.

In case you cannot participate in the practical training due to illness, be aware that to postpone the course, the e-learning still has to be finished before the (originally) planned course day. (Unfortunately this rule is nessecary to avoid people from using illness as an excuse when the e-learning is not yet finished)

Not participating after all, or preferring another day?

Read the rules for cancellation and rescheduling here. Please note that cancellation or rescheduling may incur costs.

You will receive the latest information one week in advance.
Should the course not take place due to insufficient participants, you will be informed at least one week before the start of the course. Fortunately, this hardly ever happens.
