How to reach our location and parking:

  • The course will take place at Pisanostraat 55D in Eindhoven.
  • Attention! There will be roadworks on the highways around Eindhoven (A58, N2/A2, A50) in the coming weeks. Check vananaarbeter.nl to see if this also applies to your route!  Make sure you leave on time and expect up to an hour’s delay.
  • The coffee is ready fifteen minutes before the start. Make sure you leave on time, because after the start of the course it is no longer possible to enter.
  • Are you coming by public transport? From Eindhoven central station it is approximately 6 minutes by bus.
  • Are you coming by bicycle? You can park your bicycle in front of our building
  • Are you coming by car? in the street(s) around our building. If possible, please travel together or travel by public transport or bike to prevent parking nuisance.

What to wear:

  • Keep in mind that when choising your clothing that this is an active course. When doing the recovery position, we are lying on the floor and for CPR you have to be on your knees. In the courses where we work with tourniquets, we apply it on our own leg.
  • It is advised to were jeans or trousers. You can wear a dress/skirt, but this not very convenient when practising. Thin trousers / tights might break when using a tourniquet.
  • Don’t use lipstick, also no smudgeproof/waterproof lipstick. This will stain the CPR manikins and is very hard to be removed.

Preparation:

Are you taking a course with e-learning, then make sure to finish the e-learning before the start of the course. This is not applicable for repetition courses.
Click
here for more info about login in.
The e-learnings takes time:

  • First aid to babies and children 6 hours
  • First aid course 8 hours
  • Advanced first aid course 14 hours
  • Advanced first aid course including children’s first aid 16 hours

When the e-learning is not finished, you cannot participate in the practical training. In case you cannot participate in the practical training due to illness, be aware that to postpone the course, the e-learning still has to be finished before the (originally) planned course day. (Unfortunately this rule is nessecary to avoid people from using illness as an excuse when the e-learning is not yet finished).

Are you doning a repetition course? Than you don’t have to do an e-learning / preparation in advance.

  • Please download the app ‘qCPR’ from Laerdal before the course. We will use this app in the First aid to Adult courses (not in the courses for baby’s / children)

Food and beverages:

We provide coffee, tea, cookies and fruit for all courses. For the first aid to adult courses (courses > 4 hours) we provide lunch with sandwiches and spreads.
